Seville airport is located about 10 km north east of the city, on the N-IV motorway to Cordoba and Madrid. Rafael Moneo's impressive modern airport was opened in 1991. It has a capacity for eight million passengers a year.
The bus EA runs a regular service to and from the city and the main railway station (Santa Justa station). There are plenty of taxis outside the terminal building and a number of leading car hire companies based at the airport. The taxi fare to the city ranges from €20 to €25.

The high-speed train (AVE, in Spanish) covers the distance to Madrid, 538 km, in two and a half hours, reaching speeds of 300 km/h. The AVE arrives at Seville's new Santa Justa rail station, at 5 km from the FIBES Conference Centre.
Seville's port, which is the only inland one in the country, is easily reached by cargo boats and yachts and has a fabulous communication network with the rest of the country.
